Unfortunately, cancer has either affected many of us in the past and if not already then it will affect many of us in the future. This is a very sad fact.
When cancer touched my own family it was an awful time. A time that will never ever be forgotten. However, one group of people were there for us in our time of need. They provided end of life care and dealt with my Mom with the kindness and dignity she deserved, right to the very end.
These were the Macmillan Nurses from Macmillan Cancer Support. Hence the reason for them being my chosen charity. RIP Mom. XX
